YOUR LIFE WALK WITH
JESUS CHRIST
Take A Step
All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God because He is perfect, Holy. Perfect holiness cannot dwell with sin. Human kind created an eternal divide between ourselves and God. We once fellowshipped and walked with God... until our own lusts and desires drew us away, darkening our souls and birthing disobedience, shame, fear, regret, separation, pain, and ultimately - death. The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23).
But the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).
God loves you so much that He sent Himself. "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). Repent, then, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped away - that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord (Acts 3:19).
Recognize that, you are a sinner and have fallen short of God's standard. You have broken God's Law. We all are natural-born-sinners and deserve God's punishment for our selfish ways.
Jesus Christ died for you. He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). His death on the cross was Him paying the penalty for your sins and mine. He willingly took the punishment for you while you were like a stranger and like an "enemy" to God (Romans 5:10). In all of this, God demonstrated His own love for us: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).
EMPOWERING THE SAINT
TOUCHING LIVES - REACHING THE LOST
Christ died, Christ was buried, Christ was resurrected, and Christ is coming again!
Three days after paying the penalty for our sin, Jesus Christ defied death, hell, and the grave - and came back to life. Do not be frightened. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen. He is not here (Mark 16:6). He remained 40 days among His friends and followers where He was seen by many, attesting to His supernatural resurrection.
You must repent and turn away from your sins once and for all. Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and surrender your life to Him. Confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and agreeing with Jesus means to be born again of water and the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of God (John 3:5). This is the most important decision in your life.
Before being taken up into Heaven, Jesus told the people there was more... And look, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you. But wait in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49). For John baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now (Acts 1:5).
Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call (Acts 2:38-39).
